Alonati IDB · SEC-licensed inter-dealer broker
Since 2015, Alonati has intermediated institutional fixed-income transactions with quality execution, great customer service and integrity. ITANtrade extends that service through a permissioned workflow that surfaces relevant interest earlier, preserves dealing context and keeps each engagement orderly from enquiry to post-trade.
About Alonati
Alonati has operated in Nigerian fixed income since 2015, serving pension funds, banks, asset managers and other institutional counterparties through experienced intermediation and responsive desk support.
ITANtrade carries that established service into a structured electronic workflow. The relationship remains broker-led; information, records and follow-through become easier for clients to use.

ITANtrade has received a no-objection from the SEC as an electronic workflow enhancement to Alonati IDB’s inter-dealer service. It is not an exchange or an open public marketplace. It operates within Alonati’s broker-led service and is available only to approved professional counterparties.
Market context
Fixed-income engagement often spans calls, chats, email and manual records. Each channel has its place. The advantage comes from preserving context and continuity across the entire engagement.
Institutional interest can move across calls, chats and email during a single engagement. The challenge is not the channels themselves, but preserving context and continuity between them.
↗Relevant, permissioned interest may not reach the right desk at the right moment. When context has to be chased manually, response time and opportunity can suffer.
↗Details captured across separate channels are harder to review and reconcile. Structured records make operational review and post-trade follow-through more dependable.
↗ITANtrade
ITANtrade brings enquiry, permissioned market interest, confirmation and post-trade coordination into one broker-led flow. Desks spend less time reconstructing conversations or chasing context, and more time assessing relevant opportunities with a clear record behind every engagement.
Express interest in a consistent format that reaches the Alonati desk with the essential details intact. Enquiries are attributable from entry, reducing avoidable back-and-forth and making follow-through easier.
Receive permissioned alerts when activity is relevant to your desk, mandate or portfolio. Opportunity arrives with useful context rather than as indiscriminate market noise.
See relevant market interest within permitted counterparty relationships. Visibility remains selective, contextual and overseen by Alonati throughout the engagement.
Maintain a time-stamped record from enquiry through confirmation and post-trade follow-through. Reviews become simpler and fewer details need to be reconstructed later.
Relevant interest arrives sooner, dealing context stays intact and the record is easier to rely on. The result is a more efficient desk without compromising Alonati’s discretion or broker oversight.
How it works
Clients log their interests. ITANtrade organises eligible opportunities in order of relevance to each client. When an interest is triggered, the Alonati desk reviews the parties and trade details, then provides the final approval required for the trade to be consummated.
Clients record their trade interests in ITANtrade with the relevant parameters. Each entry is attributable and becomes part of the broker-led workflow.
ITANtrade organises eligible interests in order of relevance to each client, within the permissions and parameters that govern the service.
When a relevant trade interest is triggered, it is surfaced for review. Alonati checks the parties, context and trade details before the transaction proceeds.
The Alonati desk completes the final review and authorises the transaction for consummation. The resulting record supports confirmation and post-trade follow-through.
Institutional access
ITANtrade is introduced through a focused group of approved institutional counterparties. A measured rollout protects the quality of engagement, the relevance of alerts and the broker oversight clients expect from Alonati.
Participation is by invitation and subject to approval. New counterparties are admitted deliberately, with structured onboarding and direct desk support from the outset.
A select group of approved counterparties uses ITANtrade with dedicated Alonati desk support across enquiry, engagement and post-trade coordination.
Additional qualified institutions are admitted in stages, preserving relevance, discretion and a consistently high standard of service.
ITANtrade becomes the digital workflow across Alonati’s inter-dealer service, giving every approved desk consistent records and broker-led follow-through.
